WebData Privacy Act 2012 or Republic Act No. 10173 is a law that the Philippine Congress has enacted to protect the individual’s personal data, whether sensitive or otherwise, in the information and communications systems of the government and of the private sector. The statute creates for this purpose a National Privacy Commission.
